Job Summary
Anglowealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Advisor to provide comprehensive legal support across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting strategic business operations through sound legal guidance.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent legal qualification
- Admitted Attorney or Advocate in South Africa (preferred)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant legal experience
- Strong knowledge of South African legislation and regulatory requirements
- Experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal documentation systems

Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to management and internal departments
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Identify and manage legal risks while implementing risk mitigation strategies
- Liaise with external attorneys, regulators, and stakeholders
- Assist with dispute resolution and litigation matters
- Develop, review, and maintain company legal policies and procedures
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal opinions where required
Advantageous
- Experience in corporate and commercial law
- Knowledge of labour law, compliance, or financial services regulation
- Previous experience working as an in-house legal advisor
- Postgraduate legal qualification or compliance certification
