Full job description
About Spéire
Spéire Innovation is an Irish web design, development, marketing, and digital consultancy agency. We build WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify sites for SME and enterprise clients. Our team of ~10 spans development, UX, and digital marketing. We operate a structured, systems-driven delivery process and pride ourselves on giving every client a premium experience regardless of project size.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Web Project Lead to take ownership of client delivery, running web build projects from kick-off to go-live, managing client relationships, and ensuring quality output. This role exists to free our founding team to focus on business growth, systems, and higher-tier projects. You’ll be the day-to-day point of contact for clients, the person who keeps builds on track, and the quality gate between our team’s work and what ships.
This is not a pure project management role. We need someone who can open Figma, understand a design system, speak confidently about UX decisions, and troubleshoot client requests with pragmatism and good judgement.
Think: part account lead, part design-literate PM, part client whisperer.
What You’ll Do
- Own client relationships across active web build projects, run kick-off calls, weekly check-ins, and present deliverables with confidence
- Manage project timelines, scope, and delivery using our PM tools (Monday.com), keeping builds moving and flagging risks early
- Work within Figma and Relume to review, refine, and brief design work to developers, you don’t need to be a pixel-perfect designer, but you must be able to evaluate and iterate on layouts and UX flows
- Act as the quality gate on all client-facing deliverables: reviewing staging sites, catching UX issues, and ensuring our go-live checklist is met before launch
- Troubleshoot and triage client requests – understand what they’re really asking for, assess feasibility, and coordinate with developers to deliver
- Translate client goals into clear, actionable briefs for the development team
- Manage scope creep diplomatically – protect the team’s time while keeping the client happy
- Contribute to refining our internal delivery processes, templates, and documentation
What We’re Looking ForMust-Haves
- 5–8 years’ experience in web project delivery, digital agency, or client-facing UX/design roles
- Strong working knowledge of WordPress and Shopify ecosystems — you understand themes, plugins, page builders, and e-commerce flows
- Comfortable in Figma: reviewing designs, understanding components and auto-layout, and giving structured feedback to designers
- Proven ability to run client relationships independently – managing expectations, presenting work, and handling difficult conversations
- Solid UX sensibility: you can spot a confusing user flow, a poorly structured page, or an accessibility gap without needing to be told
- Excellent written and verbal English — you’ll be on calls with Irish and UK-based clients
- Experience with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, or similar)
- Ability to overlap with Irish business hours (GMT/IST) for client calls – full overlap not required, but at least 3–4 hours daily
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with Relume for sitemap and wireframe workflows
- Familiarity with WooCommerce, ACF/CPT-based builds, or headless architectures
- Background in digital marketing, SEO, or conversion optimisation
- Experience working with AI tools in a design or development workflow
- Exposure to SaaS product environments or multi-tenant platforms
What We Offer
- Competitive salary (depending on experience), open to permanent or long-term contract
- Fully remote role with a collaborative, low-ego team culture
- Opportunity to grow as we scale
- Exposure to SaaS product development alongside client service

- Why a remote role with an Irish agency appeals to you
We review every application personally. No recruitment agencies please.
