Healthcare & Mobility Africa is South Africa’s leading assistive furniture and mobility product supplier. Our brands include Adjust4Sleep Adjustable Beds, Willowbrook Riser Recliners, Aqualift Bathlifts and Pride Mobility Scooters. We manufacture, distribute and install our products across South Africa from our two warehouses, one located in Midrand, Gauteng and the other in Cape Town.
Due to continued expansion, we require the services of an Installer (or as we refer to them, Installation Engineer), based in Cape Town, to deliver and install our products in our clients’ homes. Our products are reasonably easy to install and anyone who has previous experience in installing products (DSTV, Security Systems etc.) or has reasonable DIY skills will be able to successfully install our products.
As the majority of our clients are older citizens, it is vital that the candidate is well presented, professional in approach and engages our clients in a courteous and patient manner.
The successful candidate will deliver and install within Cape Town and surrounding suburbs, as well as along the Garden route and Eastern Cape, accommodation and a living-out-allowance will be provided for in such instances.
We offer a market related basic salary plus an installation bonus for every successful installation – a perfect match for someone who wants to be rewarded for hard work.
The successful candidates’ requirements and responsibilities will include:
- Conduct installations at clients’ homes of all products supplied by the company.
- Willing and able to travel and work extended hours
- Ensuring company vehicles and tools are well maintained and looked after
- Able to conduct on-site repairs where required
- Ability to use installation equipment such as drills and pipe-finders etc.
Minimum requirements
- Good communications skills, preferable to understand and speak English and Afrikaans
- Must have a valid Code 14/Code EC drivers’ licence with 2-3 years’ driving experience
- 2-3 years installation experience in any field: technology, furniture etc.

Salary:
· Basic Salary: R10 000 per month
· Installation bonus for every successful installation
· Opportunity to sell additional accessories on installation (additional earning opportunity)
· Monthly earning potential of +-R20 000 per month
Pay: R15 000,00 – R20 000,00 per month
