We are seeking an experienced and self-driven CAD Technician to join our team at our Century City office. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and completing independent site inspections across the Cape Town region. You will collaborate across architectural, structural, and civil engineering disciplines, engage confidently with clients and colleagues, and leverage your 3D scanning skills to deliver high-quality outputs.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
● Cape Town residency
No relocation assistance provided. Candidates must already reside in Cape Town.
● Qualified CAD Technician
Proof of formal qualification as a CAD Technician is mandatory.
● Valid driver’s licence
A valid South African driver’s licence is compulsory.
● Own vehicle
Applicants must have their own vehicle for commuting to sites. Travel costs will be reimbursed.
● Minimum 3 years’ experience
At least 3 years of relevant working experience is required.
● Building industry knowledge
Must be knowledgeable in the building sector and capable of conducting site inspections independently.
● Multi-discipline knowledge
Working knowledge of civil engineering, structural engineering, and architectural services is required.
● 3D scanning experience
Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in 3D scanning is essential.
● Professional presentation & communication
The candidate must be well-presented at all times and able to engage confidently with clients, consultants, and colleagues across disciplines — both on site and within the office environment.
● Office location
Candidate must be comfortable commuting to our Century City office. No company transport is provided.
ADVANTAGEOUS
● SACAP or ECSA registration BONUS
Candidates registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) or the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) will be given preference.
