What You Will Do
- Support fleet maintenance work, including panel beating and mechanical repairs
- Assist with accident repairs on fleet vehicles
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks such as tune-ups, oil and filter changes, tyre rotation and wheel balancing
- Help with fault-finding and replace parts to specification
- Keep accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Liaise with clients about reported vehicle defects
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- N2–N6 qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 1 year of vehicle-preparation or workshop experience
- Valid driver’s licence
- No criminal record
- Advantageous: a Motor Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic qualification
