What You Will Do
- Run the dealership’s parts department, covering stock control, procurement, parts sales, financial performance and customer service
- Lead and manage the parts team, taking responsibility for budgets, sales targets and gross profit
- Carry out regular stocktakes and manage ageing and obsolete stock
- Maintain customer service to manufacturer standards
- Work with dealer management systems such as CDK, Autoline or Kerridge, and use advanced Excel for reporting and analysis
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- At least 5 years’ experience in the parts department of a franchised dealership
- At least 3 years’ experience managing a parts department and team
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong Excel skills and experience with dealer systems such as CDK, Autoline or Kerridge
- Advantageous: JLR or other premium-brand experience, and knowledge of OEM warranty and audit processes
