Metasoft Systems’ Grant Development Services (GDS) division provides non-profits and charitable organizations in North America, the UK, and Australia with a comprehensive range of fundraising assistance, strategy, and planning guidance.

In order to prepare grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and a variety of supporting documents for its clientele of 3,000 organizations, GDS is currently hiring a contract-based grant writer.

The Grant Writer will be in charge of conducting research, composing, and revising documents on behalf of clients, with direct reporting to the GDS Director.

Only those who meet the following requirements will be eligible to apply:

  • a minimum of three years of experience responding to RFPs and writing grants
  • An advanced degree
  • a desire to work in the charitable sector in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting;
  • necessary knowledge of computers.
  • A fully equipped professional home office with a laptop/PC, a webcam and microphone for video conferences, fast, dependable internet access, and a backup power supply
  • Proficient and accommodating in both written and spoken communication
  • Given that the position is remote, the ability to work autonomously and a high degree of responsibility responsibility
