Remoteca is a growing remote financial accounting recruitment business building modern systems, workflows and technology-led operations.
Alongside Remoteca, we are building WorkflowTransform, an AI workflow transformation business that helps companies improve finance, sales, operations and admin processes using practical AI tools, automation, monday.com workflows, integrations and better systems.
We are looking for a newly qualified or recently qualified chartered accountant who wants to do more than traditional finance work.
This role combines finance management, systems walkthroughs, workflow documentation, AI automation and business transformation.
AI & Workflow Transformation
You will also support WorkflowTransform projects, including:
- Mapping current-state and future-state business workflows
- Identifying opportunities for AI, automation and system improvement
- Helping design AI-powered workflow apps, automations and agents
- Supporting workflow builds using tools such as monday.com, Make, Zapier, n8n, Excel, Power Query, Power BI and AI tools
- Testing AI outputs, automation logic and workflow reliability
- Creating SOPs, workflow maps, process documentation and implementation notes
- Supporting client projects across finance, sales, operations and admin workflows
- Turning internal Remoteca improvements into repeatable client solutions
Finance Management for Remoteca
You will help manage and improve the finance function, including:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Supporting cash flow reporting and forecasting
- Preparing budgets, forecasts and financial analysis
- Managing invoicing, billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows
- Supporting bank, payment and system reconciliations
- Monitoring revenue, costs, margins and profitability
- Preparing founder/management reporting packs
- Liaising with accountants, tax advisers, payroll providers and other external advisers
- Improving financial processes, controls and reporting
- Building better dashboards and automated finance reports
- Helping make the finance function more scalable, accurate and efficient
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a good fit if you are:
- A newly qualified or recently qualified chartered accountant
- Strong in finance fundamentals, controls and management reporting
- Interested in AI, automation, systems, software or development
- Good with Excel and comfortable working with data
- Curious, practical and self-motivated
- Able to document processes clearly
- Comfortable reviewing finance processes and understanding where controls are needed
- Interested in internal controls, system walkthroughs, process documentation and business improvement
- Able to understand how transactions move through systems from source data to reporting
- Practical about balancing automation with appropriate human review and approval points
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly
- Interested in building systems, not just reporting numbers
- Excited by the idea of combining finance, AI and business transformation
Useful Skills
Experience with any of the following would be a bonus:
- Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot
- Power BI or other dashboarding tools
- monday.com, Airtable, Notion, HubSpot or similar systems
- Make, Zapier, n8n or other automation tools
- ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or other AI tools
- SQL, Python, JavaScript or APIs

The ideal person is someone who can manage finance properly, but also wants to build smarter workflows using AI and automation for us and our international clients.
Pay: R40 000,00 – R55 000,00 per month
