Operator of a Printer with Signage Experience
Job: Graphic Designer and Printer Operator
Location: Silverton’s M2 Design and Manufacturing
Type of Work: Full-Time
Pay: R12,000 or more
We’re the printer operators: We’re the printer operator: We operate the printer. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented printer operator with signage experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in operating large-format printers and preparing print-ready files to produce high-quality signage and graphics. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive top-notch products that meet their specifications.
Responsibilities
OperatePrinters: OperatePrinters: Operate printers; operate and maintain large-format printers. Experience in Mimaki printers is preferred.
CorelDraw: PrepareCorelDraw,Prepare print-ready files using design software (e.g., CorelDraw, Photoshop, RIP software). We mainly use Corel Draw. Ensure color accuracy, file resolution, and proper formatting for optimal print quality.
Graphic Design
equipment. equipment. equipment. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of printing equipment. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Requirements
Large-format printer operator: Proven experience as a large-format printer operator, preferably in the signage or graphics industry. Proficiency in preparing print-ready files using Corel Draw. Full vehicle wrap print-ready files are a must, as we specialize in vehicle wrapping and signage.
Prepress: Strong understanding of color management, file formats, and prepress processes. Familiarity with large-format printers (Mimaki). Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with printing equipment.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in printing technology is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in signage production or a related field.
Knowledge of RIP software Experience with vinyl cutting, laminating, and finishing processes.
